Unreal Blueprint AI Assistant
Unreal Blueprint AI assistant that fits your project architecture
Blueprint-heavy Unreal work still depends on project architecture: actors, components, assets, editor setup, gameplay rules, and the C++ or Blueprint boundary your project already uses.
Avori helps you reason through that boundary before implementation. Use it to turn a GDD slice into a reviewable plan, identify affected Unreal systems, and call out editor setup or manual checks before changes land.
Avori Core supports unlimited local projects and GDDs. Start with 60 one-time trial credits, then continue with prepaid Avori Balance for supported Avori-hosted models. Pro lets you use your own AI provider key.

Where Blueprint setup may be required, what should stay data-driven, and what needs manual editor review.

Requirements
- Unreal Engine 5.7 on Windows; other Unreal versions are not currently qualified
- A C++ project; Blueprint-only projects must add a C++ class first so the plugin can compile
- Windows 10 64-bit or newer (Windows 11 recommended)
- The Unreal plugin is bundled with the Avori installer and copied into the project's Plugins folder
Full details are in the system requirements.
What it can do in Unreal Engine
- Open the Avori panel from the Avori toolbar button in the Unreal editor
- Get answers that reference your project's C++ and Blueprint code
- Attach the active file so Avori can explain it or propose a reviewed change
- Choose Auto or a specific model for complex work such as Gameplay Ability System or animation questions
- See the active model-funding source before you send a request
- Open the real .uproject file in JetBrains Rider so Avori receives the actual Unreal project context
- Rely on the plugin being an Editor module, so it is excluded from shipping builds automatically
Actions differ by engine, so this list covers only what the docs describe for the Unreal integration. To start, follow the connect an existing Unreal project tutorial.
Why Blueprint AI needs architecture context
A generic answer can suggest a graph shape, but a real Unreal project needs the right ownership boundary first. The same feature may belong in an actor, component, subsystem, data asset, or editor-authored Blueprint depending on the project.
Avori is useful when you need a plan that explains that choice and keeps Blueprint/editor setup tied to the design intent.
Example Unreal Blueprint planning workflow
The result should explain the architecture choice, affected files or assets, manual editor setup, and test cases before implementation.
When Blueprint planning needs project context
Use this workflow to reason about actor/component ownership, the Blueprint and C++ boundary, editor setup, reusable assets, design constraints, and the smallest reviewable first step.
FAQ
Is the Unreal Blueprint AI assistant free?
Avori Core is $0 and includes the Unreal Blueprint integration. Start with 60 one-time trial credits for AI work, then continue with prepaid Avori Balance for supported Avori-hosted models. Using your own AI provider key is a Pro feature, and your provider bills that usage directly.
Which Unreal Engine versions does Avori support?
Unreal Engine 5.7 on Windows is the currently verified version, and other versions are not currently qualified.
Does it work with a Blueprint-only project?
Add a C++ class to the project first. The Avori plugin needs a C++ project to compile; after that, Avori can reference both your C++ and Blueprint code.
Does my code leave my machine?
Avori is local-first by default. Core project files, indexes, and project memory stay on your computer. When you ask a model for help, the request context goes to the model provider you selected. Pro cloud continuity and Cloud Loops use cloud storage or processing only when you enable them, and your content is not used for training.
Can Avori change my project without asking?
No. Questions and plans do not change the project. Avori proposes changes as reviewed actions, and you approve or reject them before they run. Blueprint work may still require editor setup and your review.
Can Avori help decide between Blueprint and C++?
Yes. Avori can help reason about project rules, selected files, design constraints, and implementation boundaries so you can choose a safer path.
