Unity AI assistant that understands your project context

Unity work is not just C# code. It is scenes, prefabs, serialized fields, ScriptableObjects, input maps, UI hierarchies, package choices, editor state, and design rules that only make sense together.

Avori helps Unity developers work from that full context. Connect the project, add design docs, define project rules, and ask for help that fits the codebase and scene workflow you already have.

Avori Core supports unlimited local projects and GDDs. Start with 60 one-time trial credits, then continue with prepaid Avori Balance for supported Avori-hosted models. Pro lets you use your own AI provider key.

What this workflow keeps visible

See the context Avori can use, the decisions that still need your judgment, and the checks to review before work changes your game.

C# and architecture

MonoBehaviours, managers, data classes, naming conventions, and existing controller patterns.

Scene planning

GameObjects, components, UI hierarchy, prefabs, ScriptableObjects, and reviewable editor steps.

Design alignment

GDD mechanics, balance values, constraints, and intended player feel.

Safety checks

Affected files, assumptions, manual tests, and places where Inspector data may matter.

Requirements

  • Unity 2020.3 LTS or newer; Unity 6 is supported
  • Any Unity subscription tier
  • Windows 10 64-bit or newer (Windows 11 recommended)
  • The Unity plugin is bundled with the Avori installer; no package URL or marketplace download is needed

Full details are in the system requirements.

What it can do in Unity

  • Create GameObjects: primitives, empty objects, prefab instances, lights, and cameras; duplicate, rename, delete, and set active
  • Build UI: Canvas, panels, TextMeshPro text, Buttons, and Images with correct parenting and RectTransform setup
  • Add components by type name, set component fields, and wire references between components
  • Set position, rotation, and scale, parent objects in the hierarchy, and set tags and layers
  • Create asset folders, move and delete files, and trigger an AssetDatabase refresh
  • Register scene edits with Unity Undo; each approved Loop step is checkpointed so Avori's rollback can restore it
  • Capture the Scene View with the Vision Tool so Avori can check its work

Scene-changing actions are blocked while the Unity scene is in Play Mode. To start, follow the connect an existing Unity project tutorial.

Unity bugs rarely live in one file

A broken mechanic might involve a script, a prefab reference, an Animator state, an input binding, a missing serialized field, a tag, a layer, or a GDD rule that no longer matches the implementation. A code-only answer can miss the actual problem.

Avori is useful when the right answer needs both code and Unity context. Ask it to inspect the likely systems, explain the dependency chain, and propose a smaller plan before changing anything.

Example Unity workflow

Prompt: "The GDD says dash is short, directional, interruptible, and costs stamina. Check the current movement scripts and propose the smallest implementation plan."

A strong answer should identify movement, stamina, input, animation, tuning values, and test cases. It should also call out where Inspector or prefab data may need review, because Unity behavior often crosses the code/editor boundary.

Where the Unity workflow helps

Use Avori when the answer depends on both C# and editor setup: serialized fields, prefabs, input actions, Animator state, tags, layers, scene objects, or GDD rules.

Use the setup docs for the supported plugin path and the Security page for the exact local, provider, and optional cloud data flow.

FAQ

Is the Unity AI assistant free?

Avori Core is $0 and includes the Unity integration. Start with 60 one-time trial credits for AI work, then continue with prepaid Avori Balance for supported Avori-hosted models. Using your own AI provider key is a Pro feature, and your provider bills that usage directly.

Which Unity versions does Avori support?

Unity 2020.3 LTS or newer, including Unity 6, on Windows 10 64-bit or newer. Any Unity subscription tier works.

Does my code leave my machine?

Avori is local-first by default. Core project files, indexes, and project memory stay on your computer. When you ask a model for help, the request context goes to the model provider you selected. Pro cloud continuity and Cloud Loops use cloud storage or processing only when you enable them, and your content is not used for training.

Does it work with my existing Unity project?

Yes. Connect the Unity project you already have and Avori installs its bundled Unity plugin. Avori first reads your project and answers questions; it only changes files after you say yes.

Can Avori change my scene without asking?

No. Questions and plans do not change the project. Scene and file changes appear as reviewed actions that you approve or reject, approved scene edits are registered with Unity Undo, and scene-changing actions are blocked in Play Mode.

Can Avori write Unity C# code?

Yes. Avori can help generate, explain, refactor, and debug Unity C# code while using the project context and rules you connect.
